He might be a homo*****ual Jew, but Glenn Greenwald is a legend and a hero, and his recent piece ripping apart the hall monitor censorship beat of the mainstream media is the article of the year.
Most importantly, it inspired me to write the funniest article of the year, “Suspicions of Racial Bias Abound After Illinois Trampoline Park Cancels ***** Night.”
If you look out at the media landscape, there is virtually no one willing to tell the truth, and Glenn always does. I would even say he’s better than Tucker Carlson, because Tucker Carlson, wittingly or not, puts out State Department and Israeli government propaganda about China.
You can say whatever you want about Glenn. Obviously, he’s not a repentant Jew (which is the only theoretical “good Jew”), because if he was he wouldn’t be engaging in homo*****uality. Maybe he’s just supporting the freedom of people who Jews hate for the purposes of being transgressive. It’s possible or perhaps probable that he’s literally a Jew transgressing against collective Judaism.
Or, maybe it all goes back to a queer spat with David Brock.
Whatever his motivations, he is doing God’s work. That is the lesson we learn: that everyone ultimately reports to God, and if God wants to use a homo*****ual Jew to do his work, God will use a homo*****ual Jew to do his work.
Glenn’s latest piece on Substack is really too good to just pull quotes from. You have to read it in full. I will just quote the first six paragraphs, so that you are motived to go finish it over on Substack.
From the piece, entitled “The Journalistic Tattletale and Censorship Industry Suffers Several Well-Deserved Blows“:
A new and rapidly growing journalistic “beat” has arisen over the last several years that can best be described as an unholy mix of junior high hall-monitor tattling and Stasi-like citizen surveillance. It is half adolescent and half malevolent. Its primary objectives are control, censorship, and the destruction of reputations for fun and power. Though its epicenter is the largest corporate media outlets, it is the very antithesis of journalism.
I’ve written before about one particularly toxic strain of this authoritarian “reporting.” Teams of journalists at three of the most influential corporate media outlets — CNN’s “media reporters” (Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy), NBC’s “disinformation space unit” (Ben Collins and Brandy Zadrozny), and the tech reporters of The New York Times (Mike Isaac, Kevin Roose, Sheera Frenkel) — devote the bulk of their “journalism” to searching for online spaces where they believe speech and conduct rules are being violated, flagging them, and then pleading that punitive action be taken (banning, censorship, content regulation, after-school detention). These hall-monitor reporters are a major factor explaining why tech monopolies, which (for reasons of self-interest and ideology) never wanted the responsibility to censor, now do so with abandon and seemingly arbitrary blunt force: they are shamed by the world’s loudest media companies when they do not.
Just as the NSA is obsessed with ensuring there be no place on earth where humans can communicate free of their spying eyes and ears, these journalistic hall monitors cannot abide the idea that there can be any place on the internet where people are free to speak in ways they do not approve. Like some creepy informant for a state security apparatus, they spend their days trolling the depths of chat rooms and 4Chan bulletin boards and sub-Reddit threads and private communications apps to find anyone — influential or obscure — who is saying something they believe should be forbidden, and then use the corporate megaphones they did not build and could not have built but have been handed in order to silence and destroy anyone who dissents from the orthodoxies of their corporate managers or challenges their information hegemony.
Oliver Darcy has built his CNN career by sitting around with Brian Stelter petulantly pointing to people breaking the rules on social media and demanding tech executives make the rule-breakers disappear. The little crew of tattletale millennials assembled by NBC — who refer to their twerpy work with the self-glorifying title of “working in the disinformation space”: as intrepid and hazardous as exposing corruption by repressive regimes or reporting from war zones — spend their dreary days scrolling through 4Chan boards to expose the offensive memes and bad words used by transgressive adolescents; they then pat themselves on the back for confronting dangerous power centers, even when it is nothing more trivial and bullying than doxxing the identities of powerless, obscure citizens.
But the worst of this triumvirate is the NYT’s tech reporters, due to influence and reach if no other reason. When Silicon Valley monopolies, publicly pressured by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and other lawmakers, united to remove Parler from the internet, the Times’ tech team quickly donned their hall-monitor goggles and Stasi notebooks to warn that the Bad People had migrated to Signal and Telegram. This week they asked: “Are Private Messaging Apps the Next Misinformation Hot Spot?” One reporter “confess[ed] that I am worried about Telegram. Other than private messaging, people love to use Telegram for group chats — up to 200,000 people can meet inside a Telegram chat room. That seems problematic.”
These examples of journalism being *****d to demand censorship of spaces they cannot control are too numerous to comprehensively chronicle. And they are not confined to those three outlets. That far more robust censorship is urgently needed is now a virtual consensus in mainstream corporate journalism: it’s an animating cause for them.
The single issue I take with this is that he misspells “doxing.”
Because I know some of you won’t go read it, I need to pull a couple more quotes:
- “Thus do we have the unimaginably warped dynamic in which U.S. journalists are not the defenders of free speech values but the primary crusaders to destroy them.”
- “So settling on this penny-ante, trivial bullshit — tattling, hall monitoring, speech policing: all in the most anti-intellectual, adolescent and primitive ways — is all they have. It’s all they are. It’s why they have fully earned the contempt and distrust in which the public holds them.”
And that’s a mic drop.
Of course, all he is saying is stuff I’ve been saying for four years. This is true. I’m sure like most or perhaps even all important people, he follows this site. But he’s got nothing to win by putting this out there, and ripping them to shreds. And that is what he has done. Every single journalist on the planet knows who Glenn Greenwald is. He’s the single most famous living journalist.
He just brutally and absolutely humiliated all of these pieces of shit. He went through and named and shamed them.
What he did to that sickening bitch Taylor Lorenz is the equivalent of ripping off a fat woman’s clothes on the street, throwing her in the mud, spitting in her face, and then *****ming in on her fat rolls with a high definition camera and broadcasting it to every person on earth.
As a framing device for the larger issue of journalism having been transformed into a tattletale industrial complex, he tells the mind-numbing tale of how this Lorenz bitch snuck into a private chat on Clubhouse, after she’d already been blocked, and secretly recorded them, before falsely accusing Silicon Valley entrepreneur Marc Andreessen of using “the r-word” (that’s “retard,” by the way – you’re not allowed to say that anymore). Glenn explains that the accusation was false – it was someone else who said it, and they were quoting a third party from reddit – and the bitch was called out on it. Instead of apologizing and retracting, she said “thanks for clarifying” and then locked her account when people criticized her, pretending that she is herself the victim.
The only way Glenn could have hit her harder would be to photoshop her head onto that OG Nazi meme. But it’s cool – I got you Glenn. Feel free to share this in your next article, buddy:
Lorenz has now unlocked her account, and has some kind of special privilege they invented just for her where she gets to decide who can reply to her. They have literally made this belligerent, vindictive, hateful bitch above reproach. She cannot be questioned.
What kind of a person thinks that “journalists” should be beyond being questioned? Isn’t that the opposite of what a journalist should be?
But you cannot shame them.
These people do not have shame. They are all patting each other’s backs and jacking each other off in a circle as they hunt down the last free thinkers on planet earth to tell them what they can and can’t say. However, what Glenn has done is make this “Tattletale Industrial Complex” radioactive. These people are now officially the lowest of the low. Other journalists, and professionals of any kind, perhaps even their own family members, are now going to be ashamed to be seen with them in public.
Anyone who has any association with the industry at all will have seen these tweets, which Glenn included in his article:
That right there sums it all up. What these people are doing has absolutely nothing to do with the public interest. They are mercenaries working for a corrupt establishment run by billionaire oligarchs who control the population through regulating what they are allowed to think.
There can no longer be a pretense in the professional world of words that it is somehow fashionable to be the scum-sucking internet hall monitor. Everyone now knows what these people are: they are morbidly deranged sadists who are too cowardly to become real serial killers.
The Daily Mail put these people on a wall of shame.
Notably, few of these reporters are Jewish. Especially if you compare it to the average percentage of Jews in the journalism industry in total. Of the eight names Glenn featured, there on the wall of shame, the only one that is confirmed as Jewish is Frenkel, who is clearly some kind of brown person (I don’t think she’s Sephardic, she looks like a Jewlatto). She worked at BuzzFeed, and got bumped up to the New York Times to do this Stasi witch-hunt.
Why are there so few Jews? Well, it’s obvious: Jews know how humiliating this work is. When I was on the cover of The Atlantic, that almost entirely Jewish publication brought in a temporary non-Jew from Huffington Post to write the story, because none of them wanted their names attached to it.
I talk to a lot of people through encrypted messaging apps. People that everyone knows, including a lot of leftists. All of Washington, Silicon Valley and New York know that I have the most zipped lips on earth, so surprising people contact me. Some interrogate me on specific topics, some want to ask my opinion on things that happen with stuff. I like to be as helpful as possible to people who have influence. I have never talked to anyone in academia, the tech industry, journalism or whatever, who thinks what the censorship complex is doing is good. It always comes up because of what happened to me. Everyone believes that censorship and thought-policing is bad for society. Anyone with a thinking brain knows that. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard the sentence: “didn’t millennials read 1984 in high school?”
The reason that no one speaks out is the obvious reason: people are afraid. I always say, “well, you could write or say a general thing in defense of freedom of speech on principle, without saying anything specific.” They all reply something to the effect of: “that would just make me a target. For the rest of my life I’ll have these people after me.”
Indeed, Glenn tells the story of New York Times journalist Donald McNeil, who was recently crucified for saying “the n-word” (the word is “*****”) in the context of discussing the harm that saying that word causes while on a high school field trip in Peru.
Everyone is on constant alert already, and speaking out against these people just draws their attention. They are soulless monsters, fixated on power. People who have accomplished nothing in their lives, these failed novelists, failed poets, failed comedians, failed whatevers are, via this tattletale mercenary work, able to exercise the power to destroy the lives of people who have accomplished things. As stated above, it is akin to serial killing, but along with being more cowardly, it is also more sadistic.
A serial killer can take your life. He can even torture you before he does so. But he can’t take away what you’ve done in your life. He can’t destroy your reputation and accomplishments. But a tattletale “journalist” can erase a man. Donald McNeil is not someone I particularly admired, but he was a real journalist in that he went around the world and interviewed people and tried to find out what was going on. He started working at the Times in 1976, wrote some things he would have liked to be remembered for I’m sure, if only as a citation in a footnote. But now, his entire life is “the ***** guy.”
There wasn’t much new to me in Glenn’s article, and I felt like I was reading myself (if I had time to proofread my own work over the course of an entire day instead of writing 10,000+ words a day that don’t get proofread). But because of who Glenn is, and how surgical this article was, this is the piece that will define the year 2021: the year of the tattletale.
Many people feel like this speech police apparatus has been implemented overnight. They feel that we went from being a relatively free society, to a society where people are jailed for memes and hunted down by journalists in private chat rooms for saying banned words. We know that it didn’t happen overnight – it started right here at the Daily Stormer, when journalists and the entire tech industry colluded to remove me from the internet in 2017. Ostensibly, this attempt to unperson me was a response to jokes I made about a morbidly obese woman who died of a heart attack during the Antifa attack on the peaceful Charlottesville rally of August 11th of that year.
At that time, I was targeted by the entire media, which conspired against me. Also at that time, the Daily Stormer was among the most visited alternative news websites. We were competing with Breitbart and Infowars, and if it wouldn’t have been for the unprecedented censorship, I would now be competing with the New York Times and CNN. They knew that, and that is why they released the hounds. Furthermore, if I wouldn’t have been banned, the coronavirus hoax wouldn’t have happened, and Donald Trump would have won the election.
They’re going big time now. This is no longer just political censorship. Now, you can be censored for “disinformation,” which means “disagreeing with the media at all.”
The agenda is to somehow silence half of the population of the United States. They obviously can’t single them all out for humiliation, professional destruction and prison, so they are going to freeze targets, personalize them, and make examples of them. This is called “a chilling effect,” and it is the current core plan of the ruling class to maintain control over a population that views them as illegitimate masters.
Glenn Greenwald’s exposé of these trash pickers is not going to change the course of history, but it points a light on what is happening in this country, so as no one involved can later claim that they didn’t know what was going on.
Eighty years from now, 100-year-old CNN interns will be dragged in front of courts and put on trial for the role they played in destroying free speech on the internet.
Finally, I just want to make a personal note: I’ve been writing on this website every single day for nearly 8 years. During this time, the punishment that I have suffered has gone much deeper than the censorship. These people have threatened and harassed my family, and friends that I haven’t seen in over a decade. My finances were obviously destroyed, and I’ve been bullied by intelligence agencies. That’s what I got for pushing back against the power. But here is what I know: I created something that was powerful enough for the most powerful people to take note of it. I worked, and I created something that mattered.
These journalists are not simply tools of the ruling elite, enforcers of a bizarre set of ever-shifting rules about what you are allowed to think, and they are not simply anti-intellectual witch-hunters lashing out at things they can’t hope to understand. It is deeper than that. These odious fiends are fundamentally destroyers of creativity. They seek to smash the imaginative spiritual energy inside of men, that piece of God that was breathed into us. What they are seeking is to create what effectively amounts to a blank world, free from any form of diversity whatsoever.
They are the embodiment of evil.
